Painting is searching for the impossible, it is daring to create from the void and show that we never really started from scratch. It is remembering that, although sometimes we want to recover the previous step, we can only go forward.

This constant challenge is what moves me to paint, the game it involves, the adrenaline, the defiance of fear and an irrational attraction to colour.
