MARC SPARFEL

Sculptor. 1972. BRITTANY.

In his first work of art, Marc transformed pieces of furniture into a long series of masks, animals and mythological beings. He currently uses simple scraps of wood to make geometric and abstract constructions.

In 1999 he moved to Barcelona, where he currently lives and works. This is where he noticed the large amount of wood abandoned on the streets and decided to start incorporating it as a raw material into his sculptures.
